Hürlimann Railtec AG
Bond track ballast quickly, effectively and in a controlled manner!
Established in 2017, Hürlimann Railtec AG is a young and innovative sister company of Hürlimann Bautenschutz AG. It first bonded ballast in 2014 using an inhouse innovation.
In 2017, the first machine prototype for automatically applying polyurethane binding agent was developed. This allowed ballast to be bonded with unprecedented precision. This precision coupled with further enhancements to the system have now made it possible to temporarily and permanently bond ballast in a controlled manner – even when subject to heightened requirements. This enables tracks to fully support regular speeds of up to 80 km/h. At up to 4,000 metres per hour, the performance of the automated application is truly unique.
